What do speaker channels stand for?
You may have already noticed: soundbars have different speaker channels. These channels indicate how many speakers are in the soundbar. The first number represents the number of speakers, while the next number indicates whether there is support for low frequencies or if a subwoofer is present. For example, 2.1 stands for two speakers with one subwoofer. A higher starting number indicates a greater number of speakers, resulting in a wider sound range!
Soundbar with wireless subwoofer
A soundbar with a wireless subwoofer is ideal when you do not want to be tied to a fixed location for your subwoofer. Do you prefer to have your subwoofer next to the couch or somewhere else in your interior? Then that is possible with a wireless subwoofer. A subwoofer provides the deep tones in the sound that are insufficiently produced by the smaller speakers in the soundbar. Together, this creates a complementary sound of high and low tones.
