New Energy label
The European Commission has revised several energy efficiency regulations. This includes a different appearance of the well-known energy label and a tightening of the energy efficiency requirements.
The new energy labels will come into effect on March 1, 2021 for the following products:
- TVs (updated) and monitors (new)
- Dishwashers (updated)
- Fridges and freezers (incl. wine fridges, minibars) (updated)
- Washing Machines and Tumble Dryers (No Tumble Dryers) (Updated)
- Commercial refrigerators with a direct sales function (new)
- Lighting products (lamps updated, luminaires new, since September 1, 2021)
The main changes in the six new regulations are as follows:
- The reintroduction of the original A-G scale and the abolition of the confusing A+, A++ and A+++ energy classes. That is, the most efficient devices on the market received class A.
- A previous A+++ appliance can have an energy class B, C or less since the spring of 2021. So there is an incentive to develop new, more efficient devices in the future.
- Rescaling is accompanied by stricter efficiency requirements. For lighting products, for example, an efficiency increase of up to 70% can be expected.

Smart TV
The Lenco LED-4044BK is a Smart TV that can be connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or a network cable. Using the clear menu, simply choose from the wide range of apps or use the browser. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Apple TV and YouTube are already installed. You can install your own apps using Google Play Store. Stream your favourite television shows and films and switch between live TV and apps quickly and easily.
The powerful Quad Core processor ensures that fast actions are displayed smoothly. Every quick movement comes into view smoothly and sharply, like a race car driving around the corner.
Built-in Chromecast
This television is equipped with a built-in Chromecast. Do you watch your favourite series on your phone or tablet, but want to continue to watch them on your television? This makes it possible. A big advantage of streaming via a Chromecast is that the app does not have to be on the TV, but only on your phone or tablet. This allows you to always watch what you want.
Excellent image quality
This 40-inch / 102-cm Smart TV is Full HD and features HDR. HDR stands for High Dynamic Range and offers an extra large colour range (one billion colours). TVs with HDR display razor-sharp images, vivid colours and much detail in dark zones.
The best viewing distance is determined by multiplying the screen diagonal (1 inch = 2.54 cm) by 1.5-2. The recommended viewing distance for the LED-4044BK is 5 to 11 feet / 1.5 to 3.5 meters.
Optimal contrast, colour and black values
The Lenco LED-4044BK has direct lit local dimming. Local dimming is a technique that improves the black reproduction of your television. Direct lit local dimming, also called back lit, has LEDs over the entire back of the screen. These LEDs, clustered in zones, are switched off or dimmed at certain times. For each zone, the image is optimised locally in terms of contrast and black levels. A dark scene looks extra realistic and sharp. The difference between colour and black becomes larger, making colourful images even more real.
Built-in media player
Using the built-in media player, you can play other files on your TV. Use the USB connection to play or record your media. Think of common formats such as MP3, WAV, JPG, PNG, MP4, M4A, MOV or AVI.
Sound
The Lenco LED-4044BK is equipped with a stereo speaker system with 2 x 8W (RMS) speakers. The TV emits the sound, so there is no need for any separate speakers or soundbars. The television is equipped with Dolby Digital Plus (7.1) and supports surround systems that bring the cinema sound to your living room.
Bluetooth®
In addition to a headphone output, the Lenco LED-4044BK also has Bluetooth®. So, listen to your programs undisturbed through headphones or pair your Bluetooth® speakers and headphones.
